New Alert System

MultiState Service

Commencing in mid-October, FiSCA members will receive a new legislative and regulatory tracking alert service as an additional benefit of membership. This valuable benefit, which is provided at no additional charge to members, is offered through MultiState, a full-service state and local government relations company. The service will provide members with weekly reports on developments in state legislatures and state regulatory agencies. Live links to bills and proposed regulations will facilitate access to the text of these measures, which can be critical to regulated companies and will allow action prior to a negative impact on your business. Covering a multitude of issues, from check cashing to prepaid card services, to small-dollar loans, the scope of the service is extensive.

Later in the year, FiSCA will be offering an enhanced tracking service that will allow members to establish accounts and customize the tracking service. This enhanced service will permit members to designate bills or regulations of interest and to register for email alerts as measures advance. The service will also provide expert analysis and access to a knowledgeable account representative who is on call to assist. MultiState will offer periodic onboarding and training sessions for participants in the enhanced service.
